Coffee Buddy officially embarked on its journey by selling coffee beans and ground coffee online, starting with small batches packed at home. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Mark and Christine focused on building trust with every customer, one order at a time. What began as simple online transactions soon turned into a growing community of coffee lovers across the country—each pack delivered with care, consistency, and the belief that Filipino coffee can proudly stand out.
Coffee Buddy expanded its product variety by introducing bottled coffee, making it even easier for customers to enjoy café-quality drinks at home. This new offering quickly gained popularity in the online market, allowing more people to experience the brand’s handcrafted flavors—anytime, anywhere. It was a step closer to bringing the coffee shop experience to every Filipino household.
Coffee Buddy stepped beyond the digital space and opened its very first physical café on March 3, 2022, at 118 Don A. Roces Avenue, Quezon City. This marked a major milestone for the brand—transforming from an online coffee seller into a full-fledged café. What was once a dream brewed from home became a welcoming space where customers could finally enjoy their favorite drinks in person.
Coffee Buddy officially launched its franchise opportunity, opening doors for aspiring entrepreneurs to start their own coffee journey. With a strong commitment to serving affordable, high-quality food and beverages, the brand began expanding its reach—bringing the Coffee Buddy experience to more communities across the country, one franchise at a time.
Now with 11 branches and counting, Coffee Buddy continues to grow as a proudly Filipino coffee brand. From its humble beginnings, it has become a go-to coffee shop for franchise—serving handcrafted drinks, supplying coffee beans and ground coffee, and preparing for its next big chapter: bringing global flavors to local cups.
Coffee Buddy proudly launched its newest category—Cups of the World—featuring globally inspired coffee drinks that celebrate flavors from different cultures. This milestone marks a bold step in bringing the world’s coffee experience closer to every Filipino, one cup at a time.
In 2023, our humble coffee journey was featured on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS)—a true milestone we will never forget. From being online coffee sellers to building our very own coffee brand, it has been a story of perseverance, passion, and purpose.
